Judge Dismisses Lawsuit by Teens Seeking More Action by U.S. Government on Climate
WASHINGTON, D.C.-A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit in which a group of California teen-agers and two nonprofit organizations challenged the federal government to take greater action on climate change, saying the case was primarily a matter of state rather than federal law (Loorz v. Jackson, D.D.C., No. 11-CV-2235, 5/31/12).
